When can you meet?

  • My hours for therapy are 10-7, Monday-Thursday.

  • If I have an opening for a new client, that means I'm available during the same 50-minutes each week (e.g., every Monday at 1 to 1:50pm).

Where will we meet?

  • I offer therapy over a secure, confidential, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

  • We can arrange to meet in an office for a session about once per month, as long as each person feels safe to do so.

    • In the office, masks are not required.  I only wear a mask when we are less than six feet apart.

What are your rates/fees?**

  • My current fee for individual, weekly therapy sessions is $250.

How do I pay you?

  • Before your first session, I will collect credit card information to keep on file and charge after each session.

Do you take insurance?

  • I do not accept insurance.  InsteadI provide all of the information you need to submit a claim for reimbursement to your insurance company, if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.

    • Typical out-of-network benefits will reimburse 50-80% of therapy charges, after any yearly deductible is met.

How do I find out if (or how much) I can get reimbursed?

  • You'll need to contact your health insurance company (call the Member Services number listed on the back of your card or log in to their website), and ask them the following:

    • "Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy?"

    • "What is my deductible, and have I met it yet?"

    • "What is my coinsurance?"

      • (Coinsurance = % that the insurance company will pay after the deductible has been met)

** Note about fees:

  • I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for anyone who cannot afford my full fee.  At the time of this edit (September 2022), there is one reduced-fee spot available.

  • When working with me, you are not only paying for our time together in a therapy session.  Your session fee also covers the work I do throughout the week to provide you with the quality of care you deserve, including:

    • Email correspondence regarding administrative matters

    • Coordination and collaboration with your other healthcare providers, as appropriate

    • Brief phone calls in cases of mental health crisis

    • Research, educational courses, and professional training

    • Consultation with industry experts

    • Record-keeping
